CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT GUIDELINES

CONCUSSION POLICY

In the event that a child experiences a head injury at either training or a game, please consult the BBA Concussion Policy.

The policy will require you to download the following app:

HEADCHECK

HeadCheck helps parents, coaches and first aiders recognise the signs of concussion and manage the child's safe return to school, play and organised sport.

INJURY REPORTING

Though not a requirement to claim insurance, in the event of an injury requiring medical attention, please complete an Injury Report Form and send it to aztecbcb@gmail.com.

INSURANCES

All registered members, athletes, umpires / referees, voluntary workers, coaches, trainers, officials and employees, members of the Board of Management and executive workers are covered by Basketball Victoria’s V-Insurance program.
