Thank you for your enthusiasm as a Team Manager at Aztec Tigers Basketball Club.
Your commitment as a Team Manager (TM) will have an influence on the emotional, social and physical development of our children, which supports them to reach their on and off-court potential.
Your responsibility is to assist your team to create a positive and safe environment through great communication and social inclusion.
Please familiarise yourself with this resource whether you are a new or existing Team Manager. In addition to this, we highly recommend utilising our Team App Team Managers Chat for further support and engaging in any training and development available to the club this season.
As one of our pride of Aztec Tigers volunteers, thank you for making it possible for our children to engage in the game that we love so much.
TEAM MANAGER MANUAL
This manual provides guidelines and instructions for all Aztec Tigers Basketball Club Team Managers. It ensures consistency and efficiency in managing the team and enhances the experience for players, coaches and parents.

In the event that a child experiences a head injury at either training or a game, please consult the BBA Concussion Policy.
The policy will require you to download the following app:

HeadCheck helps parents, coaches and first aiders recognise the signs of concussion and manage the child's safe return to school, play and organised sport.

Though not a requirement to claim insurance, in the event of an injury requiring medical attention, please complete an Injury Report Form and send it to the Bendigo Basketball Association.
PLAYER & TEAM STAFF INSURANCE
INSURANCES
All registered members, athletes, umpires / referees, voluntary workers, coaches, trainers, officials and employees, members of the Board of Management and executive workers are covered by Basketball Victoria’s V-Insurance program.
